Mechanical discipline Drawings
Tools used for drawing production and schedules dynamically display DataGroup data associated with Mechanical discipline components in both 3D and sheet models. These tools manipulate DataGroup data, annotations and dimension labels associated with drawing during its life cycle.
Mechanical discipline utilizes the Building foundation to create annotations used for drawing production. Annotation tools are available in Building Design > Drawing Production tab.
Mechanical discipline make use of the Manage DataGroup Annotation Cells tool and the Place DataGroup Annotation tool. These tools are capable of dynamically displaying DataGroup data associated with Mechanical discipline components in both 3D and sheet models. The annotations, once placed, dynamically update when parent elements are manipulated or modified.
